False Labor

With Jaxon I didn't have any false labor scares or anything like that, so when I started having regular contractions on Saturday night, I thought the baby was coming! They were all through dinner, but I didn't time them because I was eating. Then, as the night went on they didn't stop. I timed a few: 10:37, 10:40, 10:48, 10:50, then they stopped. I know that if you start having regular contractions and you change activities, like sit or lay down, or eat, a lot of times they stop if it's just false labor. But, I had eaten, come home, gotten ready for bed and they just kept going until the one at 10:50 and they suddenly stopped.

When I realized they were pretty regular and weren't stopping I kinda started freaking out! I realized I wasn't even ready! My bag wasn't packed and mentally I wasn't ready either. Since Jaxon was 7 days late, I just have expected this baby to come late too. Remember, the 'not wanting to get my hopes up' thing in case the baby is late? Well, I need to still be ready if he's early!

Anyway, I have 9 days left until my due date, but now I'm ready if he decides to come any time now!

Oooh, I hate those falsies, they really do mess with you. I had several starting about 1 1/2 mths before Andrew was born. Sometimes it was several hours where they were like 15 mins apart then, about 7-8 mins, then down to like 3 mins, and for half of it I was laying down in the shower relaxing even! Andrew was almost 2 wks late..oh the mind games!

Oh goodness. I'm glad everything is all right. I hope all works out perfect and I can't wait to see some pictures when he does decide to come out. :) Call if you need anything, not that I can do much but I can sure try.

OH, I am sad that he didn't decide to come out early, that would have been nice! When I was 35 weeks with Grace I thought FOR SURE, my water broke. So we went to the hospital, and it turned out it didn't! I felt so stupied, PLUS, it cost like 400 dollars! I was SOO mad!
