Ruining My Life

Today Jaxon said to me, "You're ruining my life!"  I want to remember he said that at age 4.  Yes, age 4.  As in f-o-u-r.  Like, after 3 and before 5.  I thought it was something teenagers say.  I literally laughed out loud when he said it because I couldn't believe it.  I even said, "What?" so he would repeat it and I could make sure it was really what I thought I heard.  People tell me that girls are dramatic, but I say Jaxon is pretty dramatic.

He said it because I told him he could not have more blueberries until he had eaten his cauliflower.  I guess that would ruin a person's life.  How could I?

Ollie the Little Oliver

All I can say is that I just think he is the cutest little baby!!!
I mean, I know all parents think their kids are cute, but really?
Is he not just so adorable?!?!?!

 Almost crawling...
When he gets sleepy he sucks his thumb.

Jaxon (with his Harry Potter glasses) loving on his little baby!

I am so so so blessed to have these boys!

Spinach

Jaxon likes to literally eat spinach raw out of the bag.  I fully support it.

Preschool Graduation

Jaxon graduated from preschool!  He was adorable in his cap and gown!
They had an awesome program to show some of the songs they learned during the year.
Jaxon and his teacher, Miss Melissa
Jaxon loves her!  He got the "Gummy Bear Award" because he gave the best hugs!  It was so sweet:)

Irrigation

These boys love playing in the irrigation.  I remember playing in it when I was a kid and loving it.

I love this troublemakers little face!

Mowing

Today I had a couple favorite moments.

My first favorite moment today happened was while I nursed Ollie before putting him to bed for the night.  It was a beautiful day today--perfect temperature of 75ish, slightly breezy, and sunny--so we had our windows open.  Devin was in the back yard mowing the lawn.  Jaxon and Henry love when Daddy plays "lawn mow" (meaning he mows and they run around in the grass) so of course they were out there with him.  I could hear their laughter when he finished with the lawn and started playing with them.  Just sitting there, holding Ollie while listening to my sweet boys play with their wonderful daddy was such a sweet moment where everything in life seemed perfect.

My other favorite moment happened after Devin was done mowing and playing with the boys outside.  They all came in for shower time.  Devin did the ab wheel (the best ab toner in the world) then told the boys, "Time to show Mommy our muscles."  And Jaxon added, "And our naked dance."  They did both!

Camping with Daddy

The boys went camping a few times with Daddy this summer.  I love that they are wearing shirts, hoodies, and their warmest jackets and SHORTS!  Daddies are funny:)
These boys love Uncle Josh's camping pop up trailer.
Yummy breakfast!

Daddy took the boys to the fish hatchery.  They loved seeing all the fish and ran up and down all the rows of ponds.

Jaxon colored this guy to make a Harry Potter action figure.  He is so creative!

Caramel Apples

The boys have been watching Enchanted and since Giselle eats a caramel apple they wanted to make some.
Henry ended up running around while Jaxon did all the work!
All done!  We ate a little bit of the caramel, but ended up peeling it off to eat the apples!  It was a fun project to do with little Jaxon.

Safeway Field Trip

Jaxon's preschool went on a field trip to Safeway to see the all the different occupations there.  I was one of the mommies that went to help.  It was neat to see behind the scenes at the grocery store.  It was especially fun that they gave the kids cookies and hot chocolate before the tour!

Here he is with his friend Bradley.  They are so cute (and crazy) together!
Jaxon is growing up so fast!

Easter & A Boot

Since Henry would be walking on his cast the doctor suggested that he get a boot, but again with the cost, so we decided we would make one.
Henry is such a Daddy's boy.
Not too bad!  Just a little silly looking!
Egg hunt!

After the hunt his boot already needed to be readjusted.

How he fell asleep like this, I have no idea!
