Easter at the Cabin

For Easter with Devin's family, we went to the cabin.  It was beautiful and so much fun!

Daddy took J and Hen to the creek for a while with Uncle Josh.
They didn't catch any fish, but had a fun time!

On our drive home, the boys fell asleep and Devin and I got to enjoy a dinner with the adults while the boys slept in the stroller!

Easter & A Boot

Since Henry would be walking on his cast the doctor suggested that he get a boot, but again with the cost, so we decided we would make one.
Henry is such a Daddy's boy.
Not too bad!  Just a little silly looking!
Egg hunt!

After the hunt his boot already needed to be readjusted.

How he fell asleep like this, I have no idea!

Easter 2010 Part IV with Artwork

Easter baskets from Nana filled with healthy (and not-so-healthy) treats and matching outfits!
Devin & Josh letting their food digest.

The Millers are a little crazy (in a good way)!  For every holiday everyone usually brings an activity to do as a group.  For Reina's game, everyone had to draw a picture of a bunny and she was going to judge them and pick a winner.  She decided she didn't want to chose, so she randomly picked a picture from a bag.  As she chose, she said something like, "It'll be fine as long as I don't pick Devin's."
Here's his picture...
And guess who won???

DEVIN!!!

(Reina is vegan so she really loved his picture.)
Check out the blog Elisha and Reina write about their vegan lifestyle here.  It's a great read!

Here's my picture.  It needs some explaining...  First, I drew the girl bunny and realized her droopy bunny ears make her look like a dog.  So, I drew her a boyfriend standing up with pointy ears, except as I drew his little arms, I realized they looked like little bunny man-boobs.  Oops!!!
Elisha's picture with a "seatbelt" for the Easter basket.
Josh's bunny was at a carnival.
Here's Nana's cute little bunny.
And we all thought Papa's bunny was great!

Celebrating with family is the best!

Easter 2010 Part II with Carrot Cake

My talented husband

this mess

a very yummy carrot cake!

And because he worked so hard cooking all kinds of yummy treats for the weekend, and because I love him so much, I did cleaned up this mess.

On to the little boys...
They like to help in the kitchen and they bring their toys along.

We went to my Grandpa Judd's to have dinner and hunt for eggs.
We enjoyed yummy food and fun visiting.  It is so cute to watch the little kids play together.  Jaxon used one of Grandpa's boulders for a pirate ship.  Luckily, no little kids broke their legs at this get-together!

Family is the best.  I love my crazy family!

Easter 2010 Part I with Yellow Snow

This year we have celebrated Easter with Devin's grandparents and will still have 4 more celebrations:  Devin's parents, my parents, my grandparents, and with our own boys.

We went to the Done family cabin outside of Payson.  We had yummy food, all the kids loved the Easter egg hunt and the adults had a fun time with Bingo.  It was great to visit with all the adults while the kids ran around and played.  It's always fun for me to get together with "Devin's family" and feel like they're just as much my family too!

Nana and the boys playing in the stream.  All the kids loved the running water.
Egg hunt...ready...set...go!
It took Henry a few eggs to understand what we were doing, but once he got it, he would get so excited about every egg he found!
I love this picture of Henry on the egg hunt!
Some of the eggs he spotted were in hard to reach places so he would just point and say please for me or Nana to get it.  Then he would be so excited to put it in his bag.
It was chilly, but that didn't stop Jax from running all over to fill his bag!
Henry enjoyed the benefits of his hard work!
Of course Jaxon did too.
Jaxon's prize from Bingo.  He's a pro by now.

After our day trip to the cabin, we drove back to Devin's parents' for dinner.  About 3 minutes after we started on our way, we made Jaxon get out to pee since we forgot to before we left.  Then he was able to stay up all through the 2 hour drive!

When I took him potty we told him he could pee in the snow.  Boy, was he excited about that!  It was so funny because when he pees he takes his pants and shoes completely off so I was helping him balance ON his shoes while he peed.  All of a sudden, he lifted his legs up and I almost fell forward, face first, into the yellow snow.  I'm glad I didn't but it was a close one!
