Baby Time

Might as well throw it out there...Since I'm done with serious training and my races are over, I'd really like to have a baby soon.  So, I wasn't very excited when I told Devin I don't think I got pregnant this month because I was having some cramps so I think I'm gonna start soon.   His response was, "Darn.  Well, I guess we'll have to try harder next month."  He's so sensitive...

(Incase you are new to this blog, that's sarcasm.  You'll see it a lot around here.)

Then later he asked what a cramp felt like.  How crazy would that be to have never felt a cramp?  I told him it feels like a charlie horse like he gets in his calves, but in the lower tummy area.  Like, literally, your muscles are all cramped up.

Ladies, how would you describe a cramp?

Well if it gives you any hope at all then I had cramping with this baby and with Ryker too and it was from the egg implanting on the wall :) SO you may still have some hope!! Keep us updated :)

Actually, charlie horse might be a good way to describe it. But then back cramps are different, which I can only describe as horrible discomfort. Like a stitch in your lower back all day.

I just got an insurance allowance at work with my raise (yeah, they don't even provide insurance) and so we're looking into being insured for the first time in over a year. But according to almost every plan, if we want decent coverage we can't get pregnant for A YEAR. Retarded. And it makes me so mad at my bosses for being so selfish and refusing to provide a company plan a long time ago. I just don't think about it so I don't cry.

i know this is gross and awkward but i always say its like a nasty 'poo' cramp. you know like when you really have to go but you can't cause you have to hold it in or your body wont let it go? i dunoo...thats what how sometimes i describe it.

Hmm, I got on birth control and only have three periods a year. I forgot what real cramps are like. I hope to never know them again.

I think it's worse than a charlie horse or an indigestion type cramp. I think it's more like somebody's got your uterus in their hand and is squeezing it with all their might and scratching at it too, sticking their fingers in it. But how do you explain that to someone with no uterus?

I always tell my husband that it feels like someone is stabbing wooden spoons into my organs and twisting. Splinters, cramping, stabbing pains, and jabbing.

Hmm... Keighley got it! I didn't read anyone else's but I do know that everyone experiences pms differently. I never really had cramps till after I birthed Brody. Now I do and it sucks. But my best friend in high school had to go home every time of the month- she was bedridden with pain! Glad that's not me :p
