"Are 4 blades really better than 2?"
The razor I use has 2 blades and my legs are always really smooth (when I get around to shaving them...)
Anyway, after getting Devin's refills (with 4 blades) I decided to treat myself to a new razor, also with 4 blades. It's a Schick Quattro. The package says, "Long-lasting smoothness so you could skip a day or two." Wait, who doesn't skip a day or two? Who really shaves everyday anyway? I'm looking for a razor that allows me to skip 6 or 7 days...anyone know of one like that?
So, I was wondering, how many blades does your razor have and do you really think more is better?

Baby Ruth, this is how I roll with it- I do actually shave every day cause I am crazy! I just feel itchy otherwise. I have used 2,3,and 4 blades. Honestly I do not know if it makes much a difference. Lately I have been getting a cheap ten pack of double blades from target. They cost less than three dollars,i use each one a few times and call it a day so...I am feeling good about that system. I realized I just wrote pages about the topic. maybe I should write a razor article for Allure magazine! Reins

well i use 3 blade razors. i feel like after 2 days i need to shave again, but dont'! i usually shave after 4 or 5 days.. or whenever i feel like it. i don't notice a difference between 2 and 4 blade razors!.. so sorry, not much help!
I am with you, I never shave...only on Sundays!
I do have a venus, and it has like 4 or 5 blades, and I think it is better. I like mens razors better than womens.

I HATE buying stupid razor blades! It is such a rip off! I use the quatro mens razors and I think it makes a differnce when you first shave smoothness wise but I dont think it makes a diffence for the length you can go for not shaving. I think our hair once it has a growing period doesnt change regardless of what razor we use. It all sucks!
I use the guys quatro razor- they seem to last longer than the girls razors. But, then again they probably feel like they last a long time because I hate shaving and don't do it that often! I love the winter time so I don't have to shave very often. summertime stinks!
