Lil' Bro Moves to ASU

Sunday, August 17 my little brother moved to the Arizona State University dorms. My parents are "empty nesters" at age 45 and 43!

Jaxon loves Grandpa! Here they were laughing for about 10 minutes because Jaxon "foofed" (passed gas) and he thought it was hillarious when Grandpa said "foof" over and over again.

Recent Happenings

Here is an update on some recent events in the Miller family:

Ruthann went to Tennessee last week to see her new baby cousin. Jaxon loved playing with the other kids. He was pooped every night!
These cute planes were outside the Nashville airport.

Here is the family: Aunt Micah, Uncle Jeremy, Charlie, Maddie, Jace, and new baby Jacob.

We were sad to leave; we had a great time! TN is beautiful! We saw Reba's house, and Tim & Faith's house too. The homes were so pretty and it was green everywhere!

One thing that was so cute when we were loading up the car to leave, Jaxon was waiting in his car seat and Jace climbed into the car and they gave each other a kiss goodbye! It was adorable! No one told them to do it, they just did it!

Daddy has renewed his love of root beer and Jaxon discovered he likes it too. (We put Gatorade in Jaxon's bottle, hence his purple mustache.) When Daddy drinks, Jaxon drinks; when Daddy sets his bottle down, Jaxon sets his bottle down; when Daddy burps, Jaxon burps...it's so cute!
With some help from my friend Joy and my mom, we made the new baby crib bedding. Jaxon likes to climb into the crib and play.
Jaxon loves chocolate, especially when he bakes with it in Granny's kitchen.

Little Bro Graduated!

My little brother Joshua graduated this year from Desert Ridge High School. He got a leadership scholarship to ASU. We are so proud of him!

Easter 2008

For Easter this year, we spend Saturday with the Millers' and Sunday with the Judds'. The whole weekend was really fun (even Friday b/c we went on a DATE!) Here are some pics of the happenings and egg hunt!

Alpacas

Many of you know my parents have an alpaca ranch here in Queen Creek. Well, Jaxon loves to be outside but he especially loves helping Grandpa with the animals! We were all outside enjoying the beautiful Arizona afternoon when Jaxon saw my dad head out to work with the animals. Jaxon ran inside and put his hat on and came outside with Grandpa's hat in hand. It was so cute! He thought of it all on his own to put on his hat and then bring Grandpa his! Grandpa always teaches Jaxon neat things and shows him what he can do to help. Jaxon loves every minute over at Granny & Grandpa's!

I am so blessed to have grown up with the best dad who is now the World's Greatest Grandpa to my little boy.
